Every craftsperson needs to down tools and work on their business occasionally.
I’ve been running Iron Keld Repairs for nearly three years, and the time has come to do some work on the business, not just work in the business.
Therefore, I’m currently closed to new orders for a little while, but I’m not going anywhere! I’m working hard behind the scenes to make improvements for a sustainable and successful future, including:

★ If you have a pending repair, I will get in touch when it’s ready and we can arrange a collection.
★ If you have arranged to drop off an item for repair with me, please knock my door, WhatsApp or email me. You can also drop-off and collect repaired items from my drop-box behind the reception desk; just ask the friendly wall staff!

How we get your repair started
How it works
- Check the price list to get an idea of cost
- Send some photos and a brief description of the item to be repaired. You can message me on WhatsApp, Instagram, email or phone
- I will send you a quote and offer repair & colour options and turnaround time
- Drop the item off at my workshop in Kendal or post to me. Please make sure items are clean and dry and include a note with your contact details
- Once your repair is complete, you will receive an invoice and payment link. You can also pay with cash or card when you collect if you prefer.
Good to know
- If posting, you will receive a tracking number
- Return postage is £5 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 (small parcel). Check the shipping page for more options
- Waterproof garments must be washed but not re-proofed. The fabric must be clean for adhesives to bond, and re-proofers act as a non-stick agent which prevents adhesion
