Workshop 1: Learn to hand sew

Description

Develop the skills to repair your own clothes and make stuff! We will start at the beginning, covering four useful hand sewing stitches, as well as attaching buttons.

Enjoy learning in a small group (max 8) in a supportive and friendly environment. We’ll discuss how to tackle common repairs, plus handy tips and tricks.

All materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own sewing kit if you like.

After mastering the needle and thread, you will have the opportunity to work on your own garments which you can bring (small repairs recommended), or practice on the materials provided.
