Description
I’ve teamed up with Cumbria Wildlife Trust to host a workshop for the Great Big Green Week 2026!
Develop the skills to repair your own clothes and start making by hand. We will start at the beginning, covering four useful hand stitches plus handy tips and tricks. We will apply our new skills to repairing tears, patching and using stitches to create interest and strength while mending.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials will be provided, including lots of fabrics to choose from. Enjoy learning in a small group in a supportive and friendly environment.
You are welcome to bring garments which need small repairs and patches to work on, or practice on the materials provided. I’ll be happy to answer your questions and provide repair advice.
